Contemporary Rugs

Contemporary rugs are a great addition to any room, to really enhance it and bring luxury and elegance to your home.

The designs on our contemporary rugs are inspired by artists such as Kandinsky, Miro and Klimt, all of whom are well known for being pioneers in modern art and design. Much of the designs are very bold and striking, bringing real depth to any room and providing a focal point.

All our Kashmir rugs are produced in a Fair Trade environment in which the workers in Kashmir work in a village setting. So no factories are involved and all the workers are adults who set their own rates for the work they do. They're hand embroidered using traditional techniques with locally dyed wool. The contemporary rugs all have strong cotton backing to them and can be cleaned with recommended wool-cleaning methods.
